Upgrading 2014 -16 Front Turn Signals To LED

I'm hoping to get some feed back from somebody who has either done this or that works in a GM dealership that has seen this.

I want to upgrade my 2016 SLE Sierra from a incandescent turn signal bulb to a full LED turn signal / Headlight system, like the Denali. Can I buy the Denali headlights and switch them out? Would they be plug and play? Or are the headlight mounting differences from the 2016 Denali from the 2016 SLE or SLT?

Will the require wiring harness adapters or are the plugs the same?

Ultimately the video below is my goal

Picture below is what I have... Incandescent amber bulb as front turn signal and the C LED turns off while signal is flashing.(Not an attractive feature)

So with all the research I've been doing I've come to the conclusion the above video is a modification NOT A OPTION

When signals are turned on, the same side LED driving light will be canceled and will stay off while that turn signal flashes.

And if the bumper LED fog lights are turned on during the day the LED headlights will come on too.

I'm gonna continue searching to find how to add the video mods to my 2016 Sierra SLE

That video shows the turn signals operating as designed from the factory on the SLT and Denali trim trucks. That is not a modification, multiple videos show this and I have personally seen several of them operating the same locally. Just an FYI.

Check gen5diy. They have a kit if you really want it to happen.

I really like what those headlight do in the above video..

As Silverado915 suggested Gen5DIY has the solution to get what you see in the video.

And NO what you see in the video is not stock

Just a heads up the OEM LED lights will cost you like 2k+.

If you JUST want an LED turn you could swap to a replacement LED bulb + resistor but it would still be in the same reflector housing for less than 75$.

Yeah... I'm not much into the retro fit LED bulbs. The reason I'm doing this is to have the LED turn signal with the LED "C" driving light. And to get that one step up from the Denali and have the LED "C" stay on while turn signals are on.

The buy a SLT / Denali full LED headlight fixture is 2k + from the dealership or $1299.99 for the pair from gen5DIY or $1000 for a pair from a local auto recycles. (cdn $$)

i have the led upgraded front lights.. no turn bulb... i also noticed with fogs on ,you turn on the blinker.. the led around the light doesn't go out.. it just dims.. unlike without the fogs.. turn on the turn signal and the led around the light goes off... i drive with my fogs on most of the time anyways...

i think it was a upgrade option offered on my truck.... my stepfather bought the same truck the day before and he has the turn bulb...
