Having some ac issues. I'm sure this has been asked this a thoand times and I'm sure this is not the correct forum but I'm new here and still figuring out how to post.

My ac was blowing kinds Luke warm at stop lights. While evacuated the system and recharged and finnally got it back but now it is just nearly cooling on drivers side and HOT on the passenger side; any help is greatly appreciated.

Could be actuator motors. Are you sure you have the correct charge by weight for the system?

Well I evacuated the system and added 18oz and the needle stabilized but I think the system holds 29-36 or something. Passenger side was working before I started messing with things. I thought it was low but when I hooked up the gauges the low side was high so I bleed some off and then my problems began. Then there wasn't enough to engage the clutch so once I figured out how to jump out the relay I was able to add some gas. But that was after I disconnected the battery and checked all the fusses and realized my gauges where bad. So right now its got 18oz in it and drivers side just cool and passenger side will burn you. I don't know what the hell I did.

Get it charged to the correct weight. Your problem should be solved

So even though the gauge shows good with 18oz it still needs more?

Please explain how or what the gauge is showing to make you think it is "good". If you are talking about the little filler gauge with the single pressure gauge, most have a dial that you turn to get the readings according to the outside temperature. You will need to adjust for outside temp.

What are readings on the suction side, high side and the outside temperature?

If you evacuated the system, the charge should be correct if you add the recommended amount of freon.

2003-2004 All Engines - w/ Denso Compressor ... R134a 25.50 oz PAG 46

8.00 oz

Pressure should be about 55 and 330 at 108 degrees. Check with the AC on high, not in the recirculate mode.

You need to make sure your fan clutch is fully locking up and not slipping. Poor airflow leads to high pressures
