Car seats

Hi.. we are expecting our first child this year and trying to get prepared.

 

Question for those who have used rear facing car seats. Any types or brands that fit better than others? Any that don't fit? etc..

As a father of two don't focus on looks and fit in back seat. Our trucks are massive so they will all fit you may have to adjust seats if you only have double cab. But you need to pick best safety rated car seats. Personally we used Britax car seats. Amazing quality and safety ratings.

Britax here as well, also have a Graco but the Britax had top safety reviews. Sparco also makes pretty good car seats.

I agree on the Britax as well. I especially like them because they are a breeze to install and remove. If you plan to move it often the added cost is worth it!

Anyone here with a double cab find one that fits well? Right now we are running our daughters rear facing infant seat in the center so that it will clear without one of us having the front seat all the way forward. Just curious what options people have found that fit well

I have the Chicco keyfit 30 and we have bases in all of our Vehicles. Certified installer in the house and this gets high marks as well.

 

Fits well and easy to use.

We went with a Chicco travel system for our daughter in January. We keep a base in the wife's Kia and my Silverado, so you just load the carrier into each. The carrier also drops right into a stroller that comes with the package. No complaints here.
