What about location in the back. There are latches on the side seats but I know you can also use the seat belt. Where is everyone putting the car seat( left, middle rt) most I read that middle is the safest..

I use the passenger side because of the latch system. I sure wish it was included in the middle. I was looking the other day to seei if I could use the the two inboard latch connections to mount the base in the middle.

They are too far apart. I believe the max distance between the latches can be 12 inches and they are 22 inches apart

I was able to place my Britax in the middle and use the latch system. The cables were at maximum length, but it worked. Also, I assumed safer in the center in case of a T-bone or something. As well as ease of entry from other adult passengers. Anyways, be sure to check the latch weight rating, I believe that at 40lbs?? you're supposed to use a seat belt (which I didn't really think about I assumed latch just as strong, but it's not)

Recaro car seat for our little girl. Its the only seat she sat in and wouldn't cry from discomfort. Of course Dad was okay with that!

Peg Perego here. Passenger seat had to be moved forward slightly but she loves it. Just turned it around to face forward this week and she really likes it now being able to see out the window and whats going on.
