Only you can decide if you want to buy it or not. If it is what you are looking for then go for it. Also just because they are asking X amount for it doesn't mean that is what they will actually sell it for. Time to start negotiating.

^ lift kit is worth like 2500, I looked it up!

The truck is still over priced in my opinion. Lift kit has no value to me. Conversion on CAD to USD makes it 31K USD, you can buy a new one for that same amount from laura gmc.

Lift kits+wheels+tires certainly have value, maybe not to you but certainly to some. That is like $5-6k CAD in parts + labor to install yourself afterwards

Still agree it is overpriced though.

Those are wheels from an older model, maybe replicas of wheels from an older model. So they aren't worth much. At that price, you could buy one new with more options.

I'd ask my self what that tuck is worth with out tires and lift then add 5-6K to that price, If your there then go for it. If you cant do the work or want to do the work your self add 7-8K and there you go.

hey mactaco

at the beginning of june i picked up a 2014 SLZ Z71 crewcab that is freaking loaded... full leather interior, a/c seats, nav and it is awesome condition, 55000 kms

i got it for a little less than what you are looking at paying for the LT

i did add a lift/rims/tires after i got my truck and yea, that adds some value, but not tons

before i got my truck i did a TON of searching online for what price range to expect for my truck so i knew the price i paid was fair

in my opinion they are a little high - i would try to get them to come down a bit

ps - AWESOME looking truck by the way!

Over priced by local standards (Los Angeles). GMC is running 20% off MSRP on 2016 1500s new!! That's $40k for a $50k truck with 0 miles and 2 years newer. Doesn't have aftermarket work. You can do that separately though. They running the same clearance on 2016 models by you?

This site here says retail value of about $28,000CAD.

If I recall, I paid 36k plus taxes and fees for my 2014 brand new which was a sierra 1500 SLE with the Z71 package. Like other said the lift kit doesn't really add value (at least not dollar for dollar).

Anymore to buy a 2-3 year old truck is a waste of money. You can usually get a similar price on a new one during sales. Why pay that much for a bunch of miles and no warranty IMO. My truck was 49K sticker and paid around 35K in 2015. That was a 15 crew 4x4 7Z1 white diamond and leather ect.

Couldn't agree more. A 2-3 year old truck is going to a few thousand less than a brand spanky new one. Buy a new one, pinch your pennies, buy the lift and tires you want and go from there.
