Loud squaking

Hello i have a problem. Type on Yuotube "Loud Squeaking on 1993 GMC Sierra"

 

Ihave the same problem and i dont know what it is. In German Forum nobody can help me

it appears to be new accessory alignment on one old item...

the water pump?

 

I have done that many times. The serpentine belt years are the biggest culprit, but you won't lose to the scraper.

 

that is my best guess.

 

my own is so close it has a squeak in half rotation. All new items but water pump in the past year triggered it. Iron behind the pulley. A fan can do this too..but not often. Load up the power and kick on a/c (if you got it..) hot day ride. See what happens (should go away)

The squeaking is only on warm Motor. Quiet after cold Start and driving 10 mins the squeaking starts. And if i step on the gas for a moment its quiet. As yet I`ve changed the Serpentine Belt and Fan Clutch. Today i´ve buyed a waterpump but have to wait a week because it comes from USA to Germany. Time for Beer

Pull the belt on a warm engine and spin everything and see if you can pick it out. Sounds like the alternator to me.
