Hey guys,

 

I just pulled a non-running 1989 350 single cab (scotsdale) with an 8ft bed off my father-in-laws farm. it is not rust free but has realitivly low rust, and the frame is solid. the interior is all vinal, and really needs a good scrub down. we put in a new thermostat, gas, and oil and she is running again no problem. although my father in law had it for about 15 years it was a fleet truck at one time, we found the records on it in the glove box and it appears to have about 560K miles on the clock. shes on the second engine, having a new install done at ~250K. The trans seems to load up and shift hard so that will have to be looked into at some point but right now i am thrilled

 

look forward to learning as much as i can about the truck, and enjoying it for years to come.
