I'll keep you in mind.

That link is where I got the fab route from. Only issue I see with that is the winch being upside down not that it matters really for rate of pull and all but the clutch lever being exposed to stumps or rocks etc.

plus that's a Chevy. Our bumpers are a bit different. Wish the guy knew more or divulged who did it. I'd like to talk with them.

Update:

Well, went and laid under the truck for a bit,

Pulled a tape from furthest front of frame inside-inside 28". However they did change how the bracketry attaches the steel bumper shells to the mourning brackets and that kills us for width in that gap behind the license plate. Now I see why that shop built the guys $1k mount and "inverted" (Top Gun) his winch.

So I'll go back to the drawing board. Try to figure out how to make something that fits in the space provided that the DIY guy can handle in a evening with cold beer and uncle Proto, or craftsman the choice is yours!

They distance from the inside of bumper behind the license plate to the pipe cross section support/cross member that is partially covered by the plastic skid plate may be what changed from MY 13-MY 14 but I can't confirm this. If you have one or access to one please get me this info! Other than the factory bumper brackets screwing us up the RC support brackets and the base would fit just not with that bracketry taking up 94.3% of the space in that gap.

I will find the solution!

This is the driver side looking from inside rail to outer edge. Shows the new style bracket

This is the passenger side from inside to outside.

Bolts on opposite side, (outside) Look exactly the same as the inside of driver side picture.

I would say this should be pretty close. I'd love to mount one

The RC hidden winch kit will ONLY FIT A 1500 truck! NOT a 2500! No room behind the bumper to put it on a 2500! I am an Engineer, & there is NO room on a 2500 truck, behind the ft bumper! Anyone know what brand the front winch kit is the guy had in this pic….? If anyone knows- PLEASE LET ME KNOW, As I like that set up.  Thanks.
