I guess I'm out of touch then. I don't care how much money the person makes or what they do for a living. It's still a stranger.

Saying it's under a taxi driver has nothing to do with money that can be made. It's because you're a taxi driver since you get paid for driving people around, but a step below because you still have to use your personal vehicle. A taxi driver either drives for a company or is an owner/operator where they pay for all of it, but it's still not also their personal vehicle that they drive. I know some people use their personal vehicle for work, but you're also not driving random strangers around either. Maybe you took my opinion too personal.

A lot of the younger generation just don't want to drive, they rather play with their gadgets. Lots of retired people drive for uber, I ask the riders. Nothing taken personal, just take an uber ride and ask the driver you'd be surprised. I was an owner of a family owed business and being bought out by my brother. I'm doing this becouse I like it. If I still like it after a year I see a Jeep Srt or hellcat or something simlar. That's my motivation and I like to drive.

I love to drive also (especially in bad weather for some reason), but again not going to haul around strangers. Just how I am I guess. I wasn't trying to make it sound bad and I know you can make good money if you do it right. I just compared it to a taxi driver because that's essentially what it is. Also not talking down to taxi drivers, just making that comparison.
