Non powerfold mirror thread.

How many mirror threads is too many? why not add this one to the mix! anyways,

So I installed the new style tow mirrors on my 15 2500, put the new wiring harness in, and also did the jumper harness. All of the lights on them work (cargo, signal, parking) The issue though, is on the drivers side, the mirror only adjusts up and down, not side to side, and the passenger side mirror wont move at all... what would cause this? Any trouble shooting suggestions? thanks guys!

I think I might have an answer. When I asked my buddy who works at a GM dealership doing the program and electrical why I was told I needed a BCM flash once the new mirrors were on, even though they were working perfectly, he said some of the trucks needed some of the pins moved in the harness to make it work.

So could be you have some wires not matching up.

Did you do the switches too? I read on other forums that these need to be switched out to match the harness that is switched out. I assume if the drivers one doesn't have the power fold button it does need to be swapped out. And then the passenger one to work in cunjunction with it?

no, cause the ones I bought aren't powerfold.

how so? the wiring harness' were changed, the jumper harness was installed, and the mirrors were put on. All the lights work, just the mirror on the driver side only moves up and down, and the passenger mirror doesn't move at all. There's no issue with power folding because they aren't the powerfold mirrors.

Does anyone have any diagrams for the male/ female ends? like maybe something that would tell me which pins actually control the power adjust? thanks guys.

We're your old ones power fold? Maybe your old switches had the pins in the harness in different spots?

What jumper harness did you install? And I see body colored handles and mirror caps...do you have a 2015.5/2015i/AVF truck?

To be honest, I don't know the number off the top of my head. The dealership plugged in my VIN, and I went from there. Also, the truck has chrome handles and chrome mirror caps.... and no, it was made in July of 14 if I remember correctly.
