Rear Window Defogger Wiring Question

Searching for pickups & found a LT w/ the LT Convenience Pkg. I see that it includes a rear window defogger. Not that interested in it since I just sold my 6th truck in 35 years of truck ownership & have never felt that was something I needed or wanted. However I would like to have a CR Laurence rear slider (which I missed in my '11).

 

My question is, can this be done? Is the rear window defogger on its own circuit? Can a fuse be removed to disable the circuit? I'd hate to have 2 bare end just "there" after the OEM backglass was removed.

Pull fuse "f10ua" in the underhood electrical center. Also known as "REAR DEFOG (30A)".

Thanks, I got the info on the 2016 from the dealer after I posted the question & will passing on it. Content wasn't what I was interested in.
