Anyone have a WORK TRUCK trim level?

I was unaware of how many options you were allowed on this trim level.

Im a minimalist, but still want power windows, doors, seats, and such.

Bluetooth, and touch screens are $ wasted on me, and I end up looking at trucks that are $5000+ on options I absolutely do not need.

Anyhow, I built a qc,4wd 6.0,2500. Keyless entry, power everything, 4.10s, all the towing options, premium sound, and a few other nick-nacks, and was still under $40k.

If a dealer would knock even $2500 off that price, thats a hell of a lot of truck for the $.

Anyone else happy with their WT?

I have that exact truck, a 2012 "LS". I think mine had three packages, the towing package, the snow plow prep package, and the convenience package (carpet, cloth seats, power windows, keyless entry, cruise, upgraded stereo, chrome rims and bumpers, etc.)... $35k with an additional $3k off.

I was in the same boat, wanted the HD truck, not the added nonsense of onstar, sirius radio, etc. I have had good luck with this truck, and the only regret is not holding out for 4.10s.

i just bought a 16 WT in August and was shocked at the options you get now. Powe windows, locks, backup cam, 7" radio with bt, Onstar. I love the rubber floors in it! the only thing I miss is steering wheel controls, and fog lights (found a fix for the fogs though). Remote start will be added before to long, and possibly cab lights.

The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is why would GM use "Dark Ash" aka light gray for the seats? It's a WT, that color shows stains BAD

Yeah, I should have looked around more for a more work truck trim. I have no use for the sirius and other stuff that my current LT has I don't even really listen to the terrestrial radio. Wife does when she drives it though. Carpet floor is a little stupid for what I need the pickup for. The rear camera is nice and like that. But I would have been content with fewer bells and whistles.
