daytime running lights..

1996 gmc sierra.

my truck has the fuse installed but no implemenation of any kind otherwise.

no box under dash, no dangling empty plug spots.

 

where is fuse going?

is there a secondary function, or reason to need this installed?

 

I dropped 40 amps from old tungsten light circuits swapped to LED,

and fund that 1 fuse with a mystery..

 

 

summarizing the big swap, the fuse box was last little extra.

 

illum is now a 5A

ctsy is now a 5A

parking is down to a 15A

backup/blinker down to a 7.5A

 

42.5A knocked off.

 

the DRL is simply leaving me with a question..

 

 

 

Aside from energy saving, below zero cold starts are incredible. I have yet to hear anything this confident.
