Thinking out loud i wonder how much of a difference my res will make in cab noise if I delete it (with family and friends i keep radio around 25% me only 50%+)

Update deleted res and kept flapper valve sounded better without it under rev

Yep i can get a pic for proof, so far I gotten a loud whistle like sound under wot with windows down (i hear its the nature of the beast due to the chamber muffler) just incase i got some high temp jb wled.

Thats the only con

 

The good

My gma loves the sound on the outside at idle she hasnt been in the truck on the highway yet

The drone isnt that bad you can hear it but its not a killer

Its sounds stock "ish" on the outside at idle

And moderately increased in sound under rev.

 

Also a con on my part MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE RIGHT SETUP! I went against my best judgment (and double checking) and got center in/out and i needed offset in/center out. But it works though

Let us know how the sound is please i kept my res just incase my gma (grandma) hated the interior noise ( i love the sound but since she rides in the truck she has a say in what goes as well)

I made a quick little video, not that great and it sounds much better in person

 

 

 

 

Sounds perfect to me outside but just too loud inside when accelerating...gonna go back to the muffler shop tomorrow and get them to put the resonator back in.

Not bad, I would have kept the valve in place not sure if it really helps, but since everyone calls flowmaster=dronemaster i can assume keeping valve helps

 

I would do videos but rocking a iphone 6+ isnt good for getting sound clips

Update gma loves the sound of the truck inside and out. So its a win win for me.

True i just hate doing videos and it sounds like crap through speakers and I find myself downshifting more like a manual more then i did it was stock

 

If I known gma and me would loved the sound why didn't i do it earlier...
