Broken sun visor

Recently had the small cover break that covers the sun visor mirror. Looks like the plastic got brittle at the hinges and snapped.

 

Called the dealer today and they can only get the whole visor assembly (which is what I figured), special order, for $225. Ouch!!! They rob!

 

Anyway, won't be fixing that little thing anytime soon. Guess my best bet might be a junkyard. Have a feeling that's a long shot too.

I would check eBay. I couldn't believe all of the things for my Bravada that I could find there. Check it out.

Grab the part number and try GM Parts Direct or Parts Zone Online. Much cheaper than my local dealership on everything.
