Don't buy one, I bought one for my 2016 and it has locked up my truck 4 times in 2 months where it wouldn't start until I unplugged it, or you can buy mine for 125 if you are willing to deal with that issue, see Range's website for why this happens and how to deal with this problem on the 2014 to current trucks.

I had purchased one on for my '13 Silverado and it worked flawlessly. I then started using it on my 2014 Sierra. At times I'd get "service stabilitrak/traction control" on the DIC. I sent it in to Range to have it updated (no cost) and didn't have any problems with it. I had the range because of the terrible drone from my Gibson exhaust in AFM mode. I went to a GM/Borla system on my '16 (no drone) so no longer needed the Range and sold it. I haven't heard any complaints from the buyer.

Supposedly the newest firmware corrects those problems... hmm... I would go for a full on tune, but the truck is still in warranty.

I have one that I will sell. I had it on my 2014 5.3. It has not been updated. Looking for $100.

Are you selling because of having issues with it or...?

I only used a short amount of time and did not have any problems. I was using and let someone barrow it and just never put it back in when it was returned.

I'm interested if you still have it.

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.

    • Wouldn't swapping out the original AFM/DFM parts for a complete Delete Kit be the best route to go if one could afford to go that route?
    • It comes with directions but yes, generally, it's the same.  Also, get you the dipstick stuff to install dipstick so you have one.
