Stock Battery

Would someone mind checking their battery that came in their 1500 truck and tell me what Cranking Amps, Cold Cranking Amps, and Reserve Capacity it has? (If it's printed on the label)

Tom,

I looked at my '03 1500 and all I could find was 600 Cold Cranking Amps.

Group 78, 6 yr. warranty.

Thanks, that helps. The battery died in mine, and I didn't get a chance to look at it before it was replaced (See "Crappy Weekend Thread ), and I was just wondering how they compared.

The replace ment has 775 CA, 625 CCA, and 115 Reserve Capacity.

No, one of Advance Auto Parts Batteries, Autocraft, if I remember correctly.

Mine finally died and I bought the Optima redtop. The ultimate battery. You can beat it all to h**l and it will not short out. It's expensive but worth every penny. Check it out at http://www.optimabatteries.com/. Everything they claim so far has proved to be true. I have a habit of leaving my MP3 player on in my truck for hours and them my truck won't start. The final straw came when I let her sit for 2 days and she was dead with nothing running. Good luck with the new battery. Just remember the saying is true (You get what you pay for)
