Brush Guard Questions

Anyone have a brush guard on a non-leveled truck? I was curious if the extra weight made the front end sag or if it otherwise wouldn't work. Also, would a V6's performance be negatively affected by a brush guard? I doubt it but just wondering what the peanut gallery has to say.

I added a winch and later a homemade brush guard to my 2500, it took turning the torsion bars up to get it back to a normal ride height, but I'm also looking at around #250s hanging there.

It will affect mileage negatively if you track it closely...I lost around 0.5mpg with my setup. If you don't track it, you'd probably never notice it from tank to tank.

The weight and size are both factors to consider. A light aluminum custom bumper set-up can look like it is weighing the truck down simply because of the factory rake. A good, close fitting grill guard should have no noticeable impact on "sag" or MPG.
