Congratulations. My dealer has a similar bumper for sale and it looks awesome. You'll never have to worry about a dent again! What is the weight of these bumpers?

Not 100% sure on the weight... I haven't been able to find that info... it is 10 gauge steel, but lower profile than some of the others... maybe 120lbs?

Finally got the bumper in and installed... let me know what you think...I did not get the center light bar(obviously) but those are the iron cross lights 'made' for that bumper.

Bumper went on well... we had to tap the holes for the parking sensors, that process was more difficult figureing out where to put the holes (so both the wiring harness would reach as well as the sensors not picking up the shackles...

Side note, the bolts for the fog lights are terrible, if you do get these, I would recommend replacing immediately prior to installation.

All and all really happy with it!post-162426-0-10631900-1486917611_thumb.png

Another pic... I'll take a few more when the sun switches places...post-162426-0-78811200-1486917687_thumb.png

That looks great, it goes really well with the curves of the front end on the truck.

Looks very good. I would have expected the manufacturer to drill or at least mark the location for the sensors! I bet it adds a feeling of confidence while driving!

This was the lowest profile bumper I could find that that was strong after market. They did a pretty good job engineering it to fit! I like it!

I actually called them direct to see if I could special order them that way, they said find a machine shop...so oh well... couple pilot bits and a couple step bits and it looks pretty good I think.

What do you think about of this bumper now you have using more days?

I like the looks of the bumper...it isn't too crazy big, but still nice and aggressive...and WAY stronger than the factory. The install went pretty well...the one thing I dont like is that the parking sensors are on the fritz (i did some research and it is common for them to not work as well if replacing a bumper)...so i am going to see if i can get them replaced under warranty (wish me luck)...

all and all i do like it, and would recommend it.

Oh, one other things...the 'fog' lamps are not good fog lamps at all...they are really bright...but they are more like off road lights...so that part kinda sucks that i dont have real fog lamps anymore...

oh, and if anyone is interested...i have two LED OEM fog lamps for sale (and tow hooks)...just let me know if you are interested!

Is there a spot to mount your plate? It doesn't look like there is anything pre-drilled. Curious to know where you'd mount it as the bottom is angled pretty intensely down.

It isn't made for a liscense tag... Oklahoma doesn't require a front tag...I'm sure something could be modified, but they have other options that are similar...Iron Cross Industries

    • Can ask that about a lot of places.   Holiday sells 91 for $1 over 87 octane. BP 93 is 80 cents. Amoco 93 is 80 cents Kwik Trips is $1.20 for 92 or whatever they have and $1 for the 91.   I know that this is not exactly same as what you are saying with the premium to premium debate of those two stations but why is there such a difference. Top Tier this and that, it's all BS. All the fuel comes from the same damn refinery, so give me a break.
    • Why does Mobil Premium cost 90 cents a gallon more than Shell Premium when their regular offerings are but pennies apart?
    • Was all the way down to $3.69 a gallon but then jumped back to $3.99 just because for some reason.   Diesel floats between $4.80's to $5.10ish a gallon. I even saw Diesel #1 for $6.09 today but nobody in there right mind even buys that in the summer.
    • Mine just keeps lagging or getting stuck on the reverse camera. When I turn off the truck, get out, and close the door it will still stay on. It’s very intermittent and I would not be able to duplicate the issue.
    • I was checking out fuel prices at my farm fuel retailer at their pumps and yes the farm price is a bit lower than the non dyed fuel and was glad to see that the regular farm gas price has dropped a lot from what it had been but what blew me away was the price of diesel as the spread now compared to before the prices went up earlier in the year, diesel was actually slightly lower than gas which was a switch from the theme the last number of years. However that sure isn't the theme lately and definitely not right now. The prices I will post are not from that retailer but just looking at gasbuddy for the main city in this area and instead of posting the lowest price someone found I will list the higher price ( and that may not be the highest price, just whatever someone posted on gasbuddy ).   So regular gas and there are a lot of stations listing the same price for regular is 1.68 a liter, premium 2.00 a liter. Diesel 2.03 a liter for a top price I saw on diesel.   Figures out to 6.36 a us gallon Canadian funds for regular and 7.68 for diesel. With the US exchange rate it would be 4.58 us for regular and 5.53 for diesel.    Thought I would figure that out to get a picture of what it settles out like compared to various US prices and its about the same as the current price in Fairbanks AK as Anchorage tends to be lower. So yes, these would be the prices and higher along the way on the Alaska highway where they know they have a captured market !, for fuel prices for those beginning the long drive back to the lower 48   The problem is our Canadian dollar and going to the states that have the high prices, boy do we pay then !
