Just a recommendation of which Intake to get and is it worth it, would it give me problems? I do like the sound it gives but is it worth the money as well? Thank you

I'm in the same boat looking at the Airaid MIT for about $140. It's just the tube and sounds like that's all you need for most applications. I suppose you should get a new high flow dry filter too for $40. I'll be getting one soon but don't know what to buy first, this or the Diablo Itune programmer.

Thanks guys I'm keep doing research to see what route I shall take

MIT tube.... worth it... i just posted before and after pics on the "what have you done to your K2" thread... ..10 min install.. better sound, better throttle response... ..drop in K&N as well.. just clean looking.

Honestly, the modular intake tube (MIT) is sufficient. I put an Air Raid MIT on my 2016 5.3L. After a tank of gas, I decided to go with a full cold air intake by Cold Air Inductions. Other than being prettier, the full CAI was no real improvement over the MIT. I have the MIT for sale in the forums if interested.

I just put a volant cold air intake on my 14 Silverado seems like it's sucking down the fuel and it's struggling to stay above 15mpg, not sure if this is normal, I also have a tuner coming in a few days will this help me to get better mpg thanks
