GM led bed lights in WT

I bought a GM led bed light kit and when I went to install it, there was no place to plug it in. Anyone know if this is because I have a WT? truck is a 2016 2500hd.

Did you find the block underneath by the spare that has several plugs on it? The bed light plug has a weatherproof plug on it you have to remove. I would assume the wt would have it too.

Yes I found the terminal block. There were two "plugs". One had no terminals behind it....this one was closest to the center of the truck. There was another plug that had some terminals in it, but the connector was not even close to matching.

did you get the Bed Lighting Kit 23295943? that one is supposed to fit 16-17's the 23145347 kit fits 14-15's from what I read

i have a 2016 wt and it has the bed lights, although i guess that doesnt tell you much.

Not to beat a dead horse but did you remove the weatherproof blank plug out of the terminal block?

I may have gotten the wrong kit. Mine is PN 20979073.

Yes, I did take the plugs off, had the wrong connector.

I added them to my '16 2500. The tutorial I looked up didn't have the block in the same spot. My block was over from where I saw online. I can't take pics now, out of town on business.
