Rear Remote Reservoir Shocks

Anyone running remotes in the rear?

 

I'm entertaining the idea of swapping out my rear Fox 2.0 shocks with some remotes. I'm having some trouble finding much on the web and pretty new to trucks in general. Anyone running a setup with remotes in the rear? I'm lifted on a McGaughys 7-9 set at 8 inches if it matters.

I take it your considering 2.5's with reservoirs? Most rear shock options for us will be piggy back style, or have remote reservoirs clamped to the shock body since they are inboard mounted shocks.

 

Pretty simple even with that much lift, you need to figure out your max length and compressed length to determine proper shock travel. There may be an off the shelf option that meets those length requirements, if not you can always order custom from King, Icon, fox etc.

 

BDS makes a 6" lift with Foxs, you could order the same spec but non-emulsion. (Aka reservoir)
