Drivers Assist Handle on 2017 Silverado???

I have read old posts were people have added a drivers handle but has anyone done this to the 2017???

I just want to make sure it fits.

Yes it will fit. I just put one on mine, chevy part number 23285090. That is for the gray one.

Has anyone been able to confirm if adding the assist handle to a 2017 Silverado interferes with airbag deployment? I've read many post that dances around this, but dont think I've seen confirmation. Dealership service wasn't much help. Acted surprise that there was airbag on the pillar.

I would think not, otherwise GM wouldn't be selling this as an accessory.

comes standard on the 2500s i thought. There's no issues.
