Vibration on '17 Denali

I bought a '17 Denali Ultimate about a month and a half ago. Love the truck, only issue is on the highway once I hit about 77mph, I get a substantial vibration that seems to be coming fro the passenger side. I don't believe it's out of balance tires because the steering wheel isn't shaking. I've mentioned it a couple times to the dealership and they keep saying it might be a "flat spot" in the tire and it should work it out after a couple thousand miles. Well I hit 1900 miles and it's still there. Any thoughts or anyone have had this same issue?

Steering wheel shaking says tire issue right off the bat. Have them road force balance all 4.

Nice truck and welcome to the forum! Go back to your dealership and have them correct this issue. Your warranty will cover the cost! Wheel balancing is the first step but if the vibration continues, keep taking it back until the problem is solved. There is a lot of information on this forum that you will find on this topic. Members have found solutions to vibration problems that range from wheel balance to buy backs! Your truck is designed to run smoothly and most likely requires a simple fix!

Sorry for the confusion, I misspoke originally. The steering is NOT shaking, that's why I don't think it's a tire issue.

Ah ok lol. I'm pretty sure all the GM dealers by now have the GM PICO Scope special tool. I would see if they can get a technician to ride with you, possibly with you driving and then try to duplicate your concerns with the scope on and recording data. I've seen and have helped record testing data with the PICO and it is a very impressive unit. Sorts out vibrations like a mofo.

Make sure though that they drive it for a good 10-20 miles though to really get the tires heated up.

Would a rear wheel off balance cause a steering wheel to shake? I know many years ago I had a rough ride on an old truck caused by a bent rear rim but I don't recall if the steering wheel shook. I'll never forget watching the "mechanic" making my wheel straight using a sledge hammer! The end result would probably not meet the specifications for a Denali Ultimate!

Why two threads?

There have been a handful of people who have had this issue and started many threads on it. Search, lots of info on ideas to recommend to the dealer from Wheels to tires to drive shaft and rear axle. You will find your answer looking around or come up with some good ideas...
