2017 Denali Ultimate Wheels

I'm thinking about selling my wheels and tires (about 6,500 miles on them) and have no idea what a good price would be to sell them for? I see from the dealer that if you upgrade to these there's about a $2,500 upgrade cost. Was thinking about selling them for $2,500 with the tires and all. Does this sound right or should I ask for more. Thinking about putting the SOTA SPYK rims back that are the ghost metal look...thoughts???

I prefer the stock wheels over what's pictured, but if you decided to sell them, that price is good.

Chances are someone buying those wheels won't want the tires. So I don't think you'll get the same price for those as someone would pay for the wheels new from the dealer. I would try to sell the wheels alone for a bit cheaper than the dealer and try to score a some credit for those tires when you buy new ones.

Keep in mind its a $2,500 upgrade over the factory 20's. IOW, your not going to be able to walk into the dealership with $2,500 and walk out with the 22's and tires.

Let's say the factory 20's are worth $2,000 of the MSRP, that makes the 22's $4,500.

False. When you purchase the factory 22's or any other wheel your technically buying a spare set. The dealers just count on you not asking to take the standard rims in the bed of the truck. They were a $3000 option on my truck. About $500 each for the wheel plus $1000 for 4 tires. If I hadn't bought mine certified Pre-owned I would have taken the standard set home with me.

$2995.00 option for the 22's when new. Check craigslist and eBay to see what something similar is selling for in your area.

Ok so the Denali comes stock with 20's, you find a brand new one on the lot with the 22's already on it. On the sticker it shows the $2,995.00 charge for the rims and nowhere on there does it show a credit for the original 20's. With your logic I should be able to buy the Denali and drive off the lot with a set of the original 20's with tires in the back of the truck as long as I think about asking the dealer for the 20's.

If you know anyone who has successfully done this please let me know cause I'm going to put a call into the dealer and get a set of 20's that I should have gotten with my Yukon Denali that I bought brand newvwith 22's on it.
