Power Steering Pulley's and Belt

Hi everyone

My Power Steering has been playing up for some time now and I have already ordered a new Power Steering Pump and would now like to change the Pulleys and Belt.

It is currently running on 2 Pulleys and a V shaped Belt.

I am now sure if I should change the Pulley Type and Belt from a V shaped one to a different one as I am not sure if it is a straight swap ?

Can someone also let me know what part numbers they are for both fo the Pulleys and the Belt please.

Thank you all :)

I have just removed the bottom Pulley and taken down the Part Number but am unable to trace down a replacement part as the item has become discontinued.

Can anyone help me find it.

GM Part No.: 10069912

shows as a crank pulley, v-belt is on the inside.

should be real easy to just go to one V.. if that is what you are doing?

the other choice is a junk yard, any gm v8

1982-88, see if it has got one.

Is that a serpentine on the outside? Not sure what you are fixing.

this site here gives models of gm that had it.

here is an ebay ad for years down the middle..but with 3V

I took in the impossible, ebay is a great place.. just got to find other labels for the same part. Not many use part numbers off junk pile. they go by year and engine.
