Greetings from Oklahoma - Newbie

Hello all!

My name is Jesse and I am from the metro area in Oklahoma. I have owned a black 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT for a couple of years now. After my father-in-law passed recently, my mother in law sold me his gray 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT. So I sold my black 2011 Silverado to my son-in-law. I have a couple of issues I'm trying to figure out (one for each of these trucks), but I will post hose questions in their respective forums.

I am a historian by trade, but I am somewhat mechanically inclined as my father was a mechanic and machinist (he passed in 2009). I have replaced brakes, rotors, alternators, windows, changed oil, tires, etc. That being said, I'm sure at times I will not understand what is being said, so please bear with me.
