I own a 14 silverado which I took off roading I got stuck and stepped on the gas till one of the sensors went out its shaking switches gears while driving misfires poor idle and now not even remote start works I have pictures of the sensor which I disconnected and now works fine but still a little shaky and bad on gas. Any help with this sensor?

What sensor? Not many things on these trucks can just be left unplugged.

Have it scanned for codes. Lots of sensors on these engines. Gotta get some codes.

I had it scanned but there was about 20+ codes which one lead to the other in a circle

That sensor is not a sensor. That is the plug for the VLOMA (Valve Lifter Oil Manifold Assembly) that controls the AFM operation. I would have your truck scanned for codes ASAP.

How much "stepping on the gas" did you do with it? I'm really beginning to think you have a bigger problem at hand, especially if unplugging makes it run better.

It went up 99mph then i felt the power going down and the shaking misfiring started

Will I have to replace the VLOMA or could it be something else?

Get it scanned/diagnosed. We've seen bad AFM lifters and bent pushrods on some of these Gen 5 engines. That is what its sounding more like to me rather than an electrical fault. Unplugging the VLOMA, which is what controls oil flow to the lifters for AFM operation.

Take it to the dealer... way too many things could be wrong that you or I don't have the tools to diagnose it

Getting checked out asap thanks.
