I have a 2011 suburban 1500 4x4. Just had driver side engine mount replaced. As soon as I pulled out of shop service stabilitrak and traction control lights came on. Steering seems stiffer then previously did. Popping noise when turning and occasionally sounds and feels as if tires are rubbing if I turn sharp. Steering angle sensor and driver wheel speed sensor codes came up. What could he have done wrong?

You didn't turn around and go right back to the shop?

Totally agree! It also blows my mind the people that bring stuff into the dealer and said they just had a service done somewhere and now it has "this problem"....why aren't you busting down the door and demanding it fixed?!?!?

Probably just a coincidence, drop it back off and have the fix it up. I am sure that you took it to a trustworthy firm and not a fly by night elcheapo idiot group, right?

He may have just ripped the ground strap from the back of the engine block to the firewall if he didn't remove it to change the mount. If he removed it maybe he forgot to fasten back in place.

Straight up, i drive for a company and had the companies mechanic do the job. I'll have to bring it back in on Monday. I try to do most of the work myself but this guy seemed pretty decent. It's a 4x4 so I didnt want to drop transfer case myself to change it. I'm not trained or anything. I'm thinking he turned the steering column when he disconnected it. I think the sensor is freaking out because it's moved a hair.
