That's debatable. But whatever.

Buy a freakin' Cummins if you want, no skin off my taint.

 

My experience with two different brand new Jeeps and my boss's experience with his Ram 3500 Cummins are both consistent with the various industry sources that indicate FICA quality lags that of GM and Ford. I do not think that is a coincidence. You probably know people who have had great luck with Ram trucks, but most available evidence suggests you are less likely to have a trouble-free truck if you choose a Ram vs. a Ford or a Chevy.

I'd check my options. The non covered parts your worried about verses the hit you'd take trading it in. My brother is a dodge guy all the way, the last two company trucks he's had were Ford deisels and he's been impressed. He drives 60K plus miles a year and gets truck a 200K then they make crew trucks out of them. All they have are Fords

I had GMC appraise my truck today. It was a bit lower than I wanted. I'm sure I could get them higher though.

 

The first numbers they gave me on the Denali with my trade would make payments higher than I want and what I'm paying now.

 

I struggle with paying to get into the new truck because it's basically the same as my 15 apart from the motor.
