Newbie looking for some advice

What's up everyone. Been reading on this forum for about a year but never signed up being that I didn't own a truck. Anyways looking for an all terrain 1500. Came across on today at a local BMW dealer that was he owners personal truck. It's a 2015 all terrain with the 6.2. Truck is immaculate and has 7,600 miles on it. New but used lol. I left there with there best price being $40,800 before tax etc etc. I know it's the 6.2 but was wondering your thoughts.

Seems a little high to me. I believe that you can get a new 17 with factory incentives and a full warranty and still be in the same price range.

Why pay more for an old used truck than you can buy a new one for?

This sounds like a nice truck but the price is certainly in the new vehicle range. The low mileage and knowing the complete history are worth a few bucks but I would only start getting interested in the low 30's. If I had $40 to spend, I'd definitely be looking at new!

I have a 2016 All/Terrain with a 6.2 and I did pay more than that price but I bought brand new. I say just like everyone else in this thread that he is asking to much for that truck.

If its an SLT All Terrain then is about right with low miles. A new SLT with 6.2L is going to run 55,000+

 

Its worth the extra $$ for a low mileage truck. You can likely find one cheaper but it could have a lot more miles, 30,000 miles +-.

 

 

I found a local GMC dealer selling a 2015 Sierra Denali with 5.3L engine and they are asking $42,234 with 15,883 miles

Was gonna say... what trim level all terrain? 7600 miles is pretty darn low. That truck new is probably 47+k in Mass.

Seems price is high would need to be 4K or more lower to be a reasonable deal. Attached is Laura GMC price on a brand new 2017 0 miles All Terrain with a 6.2 versus a two year old truck with depreciation and wear.

Thanks guys for the help. Like I mentioned, I've been a big fan of the all terrains and am dead set on one. Have been looking for about a year but in all honesty they were a little out of my price range. I've had time to save some pennies and am back on the hunt. It really is a nice truck. Looks brand new minus it being a 2015 with the warranty ending in a year and a half. I've done my homework regarding the 5.3 but did little investigation regarding the 6.2 due to it being more expensive. Around here in New York, I seldomly come across these trucks at a decent price. Just wasn't sure how much more the truck would be worth with the 6.2. It didn't have a sunroof nor the wireless charging system. I was on the fence about black but it's a beautiful truck. Thanks guys
