Having same issue now on a 15 suburban. Car make that noise and shakes a little at idle. Can’t hear the noise when I’m accelerating and when I stop at a light it comes and goes every 5 seconds or so. Glad I read this. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Yes, thanks.  I just read that.  On the YouTube link, there are several guys saying they have the same sound. Either GM has some faulty fuel pumps, or some of them just sound like that. My best friend has an 18 and he says his makes the same sound like mine.  Kinda like the vibration issue.  Some have it, some don't.

OK I thought I was going crazy or just being overzealous because I had a jeep with so many issues but I have the 5.3 V8 2019 trail boss and my engine makes the exact same sound I didn’t know how to describe it to the dealer when I go back for my first oil change but it’s done it since I picked it up from the dealership same sound here at idle only has the RPM speed up it goes away sounds closest like someone here described is almost like a blinker sound . When I bring it in for its first oil change I will have master mechanic listen to it and see what they say I’m sure we could probably bring it in to different dealerships and get the different answers I see one person had some repair done but I’m wondering if that’s necessary or like you said maybe some of them just make noise as long as it  doesn’t fail I have plenty of warranty?

So is this kind of a “normal” noise then or is everyone having fuel pumps replaced?  My 2020 Sierra has the same clicking noise on a cold start after the rpm’s die down.

I have a 2018 5.3 V8 that goes to 4cyl on the highway. Mine has a slight knocking sound not as bad as this but it’s definitely not something I remember hearing when I bought it brand new. I’m going to the dealership Friday and I wonder if this is it.
