Rubber Floor Guys - Quick Question

So my '16 came with rubber floor. I love it, but worry about my heel burning a hole through the rubber after years of use. Anyone with experience know about the longevity of the floor?

 

I was going to throw down a rubber mat to add a layer of protection. Am I over thinking things?

My '14 has the rubber floor. 13k miles on it. So far, so good. If you can find some rubber mats to sit on top of the floor (that will stay relatively still and not shift much), I would recommend that. I have a set that I use a large portion of the time that stick pretty well to the existing rubber floor.

Husky molded mats do well.

Not perfectly slip proof but not bad.

In the during hunting season) I've used a pair of 'Realtree' mats from Wally Mart, to quicken clean up. In the the summer no mats. I've sold my trucks after 6 or 7 years & they clean up well.

Good to hear. I love how easy the rubber floors are to deal with. It's a wonder that carpet is even a sought after option in trucks

Really like the wet rag clean up ability of my truck, been running some cheapo wall mart special floor mats just to keep my boots off the actual floor.
