I own a 2015 Silverado 1500 Extra Cab, White.

The paint is pulling up (bubbling) around the window frame areas. I already paid 400.00 at the dealer to repair one area.  THIS IS NOT ROAD DAMAGE !!  this is crappy water based paints that GM is using.  It lifts off of the primer after a few years.  My truck is washed and waxed regularly.  Sure there are a few dings from other people and shopping carts.  But where the paint is coming up is not touched by anything but a cleaning rag.

This I believe is GM's Issue and should be dealt with by the factory.  Are there any tech bulletins about this ?

my 2017 tri pearl white paint is lifting all over. Pretty sure the culprit is enviro forced fed law to do away with chemicals in paint. ...the chemicals that helps bond to the primer So that makes GM a victim too lol. I'm choosing to see it as the Chevy patina ...like an old 50s truck from Nevada just not as old. 🙂
