Oil Catch Can

What are yalls thoughts on a oil catch can? So far the engine is running great, very strong. It's a 2015 with the 5.3 and has 80,000 miles. I recently bought the truck along with a power train warranty to 165,000 miles. Not sure if it will void that.

All I needed to hear. Any suggestions on what type to use? I was reading reviews on the RX. I will probably also have GM clean the valves as well.

I love mine I've been using one since 1998 when I bought my first truck. But with this truck holding 8 quarts I had to upgrade to a bigger one. I can't stand oil on the ground.

how many topics is their on the internet about catch cans? whats next what type of oil is best?

I talked briefly about this with a friend of ours who works at a Chevy dealership as a mechanic. He has had proper schooling and been at it for over 10 years. He doesn't see the need for the catch can. He drives a 2015 crew cab standard bed 4x4 5.3 3.42 rear end. I was explaining to him some of the arguments I have read on here for the catch can. He is unconvinced as well as myself. He believes if you keep your truck well maintained than it won't be an issue.
