Rear wheel house covers?

2017 gmc sierra slt z71 4x4 20 inch wheels all standard no modifications. Rear wheels house area with standard carpet like liners.

 

Is there a plastic liner or carpet like liner I can buy that will cover the Truck frame and 2 large frame holes? I want to keep my existing carpet like wheel house liner just need something to cover the frame section. In my opinion this is the ugliest part of my truck.(

I have searched but there is nothing like the GM carpet liners to go down past frame rails. Husky has a plastic wheel liner that goes down past the frame. I had the frame plugs but removed them because they hold water behind and the wax coating started peeling off around the opening.

Your right its just for looks. I believe gmc does not cover the frame because it may interfere with some 5th wheel install kits but I'm not sure.

i'm not sure what ill do. I may try to find the same type carpet to cut and/or shape to cover the frame area since I like the carpet type material so much. I have plenty of screw in points to attach.

 

Does the 2017 1500 denali look the same?

The GM ones are on both the GMC and Chevy Accessories sites. There are 2 part numbers listed:

 

84154469 (MSRP $120)

84154470 (MSRP $120)

 

They both are listed as fitting 2014-2017 1500-3500 SRW models. They both have a lip that extends down over the frame rail.

I don't know what the difference between the 2 part numbers is but your dealer should be able to tell you.
