Tire preference (not size)

I have a 2" level, otherwise all stock. I'm on construction sites occasionally but mostly on road/highway. I would like a tire that is a little more aggressive than I have now.

I've had on my 1/2 ton trucks:

Bridgestone Revo and Revo II - loved the look, they suck after about 20k

Firestone A/T - on a Jeep and a F150 - no complaints

Michelin LTX - nice, wore out way too quickly

Bridgestone Dueler Alenza Plus - great performer, currently what I have on all 4 vehicles (three 4Runners and my truck), but they are strictly highway in appearance.

Anything that's reliable for mileage and looks good on out trucks?

Anyone tried the Continental TerrainContact AT?

Get them! I really wanted to try them out, but the michelin deal at costco was too good to pass up (under 800 out the door for 275/55/20 defender ltx). Gotta say I do like them for hwy and some mild off road, but those contis really look nice. Btw, I took costco price to discount, and they matched. Much easier to get in and out quick at discount...

Will post what I do. Gotta say though, for $800 OTD for the Mich Defender, I'd probably do that and remove any unknowns...

I wonder when they plan to build a Costco here....

I actually paid for a $55 membership just for that deal. DC quoted 960. I saw the deal come up on slickdeals (and its up again now with free installation total 155 off i think), and decided to join. You can get the price quote online and take it in. I do hit costco some, but samsclub more. You might check tiredealer on those contis and I was close to getting them still. They give discount to use local installer and ship to them free. Mine was a firestone place and it was 68 to install...

Have you considered BFG KO2s? They're a great tire.
The new Falken AT3s, have been getting a lot of great reviews as of late too.

Yes, had the KO a long time ago and I agree: it was a great tire. A little too aggressive for me though. And pricey. I stopped and looked at a 3/4 ton Ford today that had the Michelin AT2...they looked nice...

Michelin AT2 got them on this 2500 and on the sons 1/2 Silverado. You have to be good about rotating them and keeping front end aligned. They do fine in wet grass, deer camp muddy roads, gravel roads they will throw a rock or two out when you hit pavement.

I'm very happy with my Falken AT3's. A buddy of mine is very happy with his Yokohama Geolander AT G015's. And, I had very good luck with my Cooper Discoverer AT3's a couple years ago.
