Running Board Width

Came across a set of OEM running boards on CL today for $250. Interested to know how wide the truck is with the running boards installed. Do they make the truck wider than the width with the mirrors in? The truck is already a tight fit width-wise in my garage and I only have about 1" past the folded mirrors... think it'll work?

Good question. I have never paid attention, but I will say the mirrors folded are wider than the running boards, I have the factory 6 inch chrome version. You should be fine.

Agreed you should be fine.

I have the factory 6" boards, camper style mirrors, 20" rims.

My mirrors folded in are a couple inches wider than my boards. my boards are very close to the same width ( slightly wider)as my front wheels. So even if your mirrors folded in tighter than mine, I think you'd be hitting your tires about the same time.....
