2500hd Battery Relocation

Hmm, I have the original battery in my 2012...that would make two I have to replace cause I added the second battery.

 

Can't really go wrong with Deka...

Because it's the worst POS design I have seen in 50 years of DIY maintenance.  What do I need the junction block on top for?  Just another opportunity for a bad connection

A simple way to avoid jumping, changing at -20. Don't wait until the battery dies, just replace it every 4 or 5 years. You will have to replace it sooner or later so why wait for it to die. This is what I do and changing the battery in nice weather every 4 or 5 years is the way to go IMO. Besides you just work the hell out of your alternator when it's dying.
