So i have 15' LT 5.3 crew cab, K&N CAI, flowmaster 40 series, with the resonator removed and dumped just over the axle. Also have the vitesse-motorsports throttle controller.

But when i take off from a light(floor it) takes off great, spin the tires, sometimes chirp when it shifts, but then it gets sluggish after that first shift and sound like its sucking in to much air or something.. not sure how to explain it, not sure if i can record how it sounds.. but wanted to know if there is anything i can check or adjust or would a tune be the only want to possible address this?

With the throttle controller i can beat most cars/trucks off the line for that split second before it shift, but then its like it took a nap and has to wake back up.

Not sure if i need some adjustments or if its signs of something else..

Take the controller off and retest. Lot of complaints on the Vitesse at the Camaro6 forum and its interactions with the 2016+ Camaro.

Controller has never been the issue, its been more obvious after I installed the CAI, since you can hear it more, but posting now because I had time at work today to post.

Anything else to check or try?

Yes, try removing the controller. Just because it wasn't an issue doesn't mean its not now an issue. The 6th gen Camaro guys were running into problems with the Vitesse controllers. They took them off and the car was fine. With a CAI, without a CAI, with or without exhaust, etc.
