Annoying Noise

I live on some country roads that are less than ideal, and while driving over small bumps, my truck's (2014 sierra) front end sounds like a rattle, almost like something is loose. Truck isn't driving any different, and it may just be the compression of the shocks, but it can be pretty annoying. Anyone else notice this? Or am I just anal?

As long as you can hear the noise in the recording, I don't think it really matters.

Like something is lose. I think it's my rear shocks. They might be blown or my u bolts aren't tight enough

I had a clunk in the rear, turned out to be my trailer hitch. Had me stumped for months before it dawned on me.

Havent been able to capture the noise, but have been researching the issue. Looks like it has happened to a few people before, with most people replacing the strut and fixing the issue. Going to take it into the dealership since I still have the certified pre owned bumper to bumper coverage

If it rattles, something is loose. If it sounds like a metallic clank you might want to examine to rubber isolators on the shocks/struts/control arms/sway bar.

They claim the noise is coming from my running boards. I just don't know how to insulate them to kill the sound.

You ever find me the noise ? I have a noise on my 13 that sounds like metal hitting metal only when I hit bumps a certain way, I'll send up a video to see if it's close to yours. I have taken the door panel apart and shook everything and can't recreate the noise , it's from the left back door area but my running boards aren't loose

They claim it's the running boards, I'll be tightening them to see if that fixed it.
