Just wondering if anyone knows if an auto cal efi live tuner from a 2015 will work on a 2017 ? I know it's only two years difference but just making sure before I buy a used tuner

Thanks

I'm pretty sure the AutoCal is not specific to one vehicle year make and model. It should be able to tune up to 8 different vehicles I believe, but you have to buy licenses for each and VIN specific tunes, load them and go. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. I have used the same AutoCal on two different trucks.

Wrong site, common sense here. You can research this directly from the vendor EFI and vendors forum WTF? You will have access to more experienced people than on this site. Personally at this point I recommend you rethink what your doing, tuning is serious stuff, you better read & research before blinding buying stuff. Its clear you do know much about tuning.

Ask Blackbear, or other EFI vendor before you purchase any used gear.

I am happy HP Tuners user.

Little harsh there all he asked is if it would work for his 2017. Simple answer is yes as long as all the licenses (VINs) aren't used.
