dual wheel conversion

I am wondering if i actually HAVE to have the adapters to convert single wheel to dual wheel? i plan to build a flatbed w/dump so the width of the fender wells is totally up to me (not concerned about to much poke or inset).

the front spacers are just needed to run the same wheels as the rear.

 

if you use the srw axle, you'll possibly need a spacer so the inner wheel will clear the frame, and then longer studs for the dual rims.
