Truck bed lights

I just bought a 2017 SLT. There is a toggle switch to turn the bed lights on, but I was wondering if there was a way to have them turn on when you unlock the truck and then shut off when it gets locked.

Yep - It's called the "Cargo on when reverse lights on diode mod"

 

Looks like this: uses a 1N4004 Diode between the brown and pink plugs. Diode stripe goes toward the pink plug.

He's wanting the bed lights on when unlocked and off when locked, the diode would have to run from GRY1 to PNK26(?). GRY1 is what we used to do the same thing with the puddle lights on the mirrors, and PNK26 is the cargo lights. If he has the bed lights, under the rails, wired into the cargo jack in the bed j-box, then PNK26 should be it.
