Perhaps based on cab and chassis variation, where are your trucks being assembled? What is the percentage of US content?

I wish I knew the exact percentage, but if I had to guess....powertrain components made in the US, everything else, outsourced. It’s even hard to say power train, especially since I removed a camshaft yesterday from Mexico. It was in a 2015 Silverado 2500 6.0L

Crew Cab 1500's made in Mexico, small percentage made in Flint (mostly fleet)

Double Cab 1500's made in Ft Wayne

Component content etc is listed on the window sticker

1500 Sierra Denali window sticker

Note: 6.2L w/8-sp trans

Like elcamino mentioned above, just look at your window sticker. If you bought it used you can still obtain the same information. GM has been outsourcing their trucks/cars for decades now. My 92 and 02 silvys were both assembled in Canada with Detroit engines and transmissions.

Hey guys. Thanks for the inputs. Saw a new extended cab still built in Indiana.

My current ride was assembled in Pontiac back in the day.

Anyone know about the HD models?
