LED bulbs for Tail/Brake lights Recommendations?

I used philips 921 leds for the reverse and cargo. No resistors needed. I had to add load resistors for the philips brake leds to eliminate the hyper flash. It took 30 mins to install bulbs and resistors on both sides. There’s 4 wires inside the loom by the base of the tail light. Black, brown, light green and dark green. Just tap one side of the resistor to the black and the other to the dark green. Only need1 per side. I used the same ones pgamboa listed. 100w 3ohm.

I believe if you use an electronic flasher which does not have a minimum load then you do not need load resistors. Check this link to superbrightleds.com  https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/flashers-load-resistors/

I got Acme RedRocket from theretrofitsource.com and resistors for the tail lights. They are BRIGHT and huge difference between the running and brake functions! 

 

Acme Rocket Bulbs - Looks like they're phasing these bulbs out to make room for the new Profile Peaks. I will be contacting them about this

So the brightest LED’s I’ve purchased to upgrade the brake/ cargo lights from stock. Found them on eBay.

I just did a swap on my 2017.  I went with more common method of using separate bulbs and resistors.  I made a thread here if you're interested:
