Sumo Spring Owners...Question

So I'm looking to add sumo springs to the rear on my 2016 2500 HD.  Specifically model #SSR 207 47 because they are a plug and play where the other model #'s require special mount hardware.

My my rational is to prevent sagging as I will be lifting the front end and leaving only 1-1.5" of rake.

How many inches of sag in the rear before the sumo springs engage?  They offer 1500# of resistance at 50% compression so I need to understand at what point they will start engaging with the rear axle.

Thank you

I lowered the rear of my truck 2in and they are about 1/4-1/2 in from the axle with nothing hooked up to the truck.

I'm extremely impressed with them and truck doesn't sag at all no matter what I'm hauling.

So then how much did it effect the ride quality? That stiff I am worried it will be horrible

it's barely noticeable over stock. I was considering airbags but glad I didn't spend the extra money.

I like that!

I have them as well, i love them, easy to install and no maintenance like bags. I haul a big 40ft toyhauler and with them the truck sits level. And when unloaded i dont even notice them, probably have at least 2" between axle and sumospring unloaded.
