Want to lift 2018 Silverado and retain factory 18s

Yeah I see what you mean, the bds kit is nice but expensive. I think I may go with the zone kit my self. Did the kit you got come with control arms or were they extra?

I paid for the UCA’s separately. Just so you know Zone is the sister company of BDS. Basically the same lift without the extra “factory warranty”

Yea I'm aware of that thanks tho. The zone is a lot cheaper. Honestly these lifts are mostly fab parts, so the warranty isn't really that big a deal. More than likely you won't see the fab parts fail, especially if you aren't planning on doing much, if any offroading with the truck. Shocks will eventually fail for sure, but they are wearable parts anyways. So if you don't mind me asking what did the lift cost you over all?

You may have sold me on the cts lift, just because I had not considered it and I like the idea of the drop brackets for the control arms. Damn it this post just cost me $600 hahaha.

Just picked up my brand new 2018 Silverado 4x4 z71.. really want to lift it 4 or 5 inches and leave my stock 18” wheels and run a 295/70r18 tire..

anyone know of any lift kit that allows for me to retain factory 18s? I think ranchos can retain factory wheels, but doesn’t say it has a kit for my truck. Only 17s

What size tire did you get under it?

I have no complaints with the CST kit. Very pleased with everything and like I said have 5,000 miles+ with it on mostly highway miles. MPG’s haven’t changed at all. Still getting 17-19.5mpg’s still have stock tires on so I’m sure that makes a huge difference as to not have heavier tires

Still have stock 265/65/R18 duratracs plan on going up to 33” or maybe even 35” tire. Not completely sure yet since I still have plenty of tread left.

Oh I see what your mean now for the other lifts being so “cheap” I only ever considered the BDS kit, or the Zone lift. And also was only going to get some fox coilovers and fox shocks with it. I didn’t want the standard shocks that came with the zone or BDS kit. I would have gotten the BDS just because of the warranty they have but it was too much money for me at the time so I went with CST.

So I ordered the CST lift kit. Thank you for all the info. Do you by any chance know which fox rears you are running? That is the next thing I need to look in to.

Part #: 980-24-664 that is the part number from autoanything. It says it is for 2015 2500 HD with rear 0-1” lift that is exactly what I have

No it is a 1500 but I was told by CST to get those shocks and they are on my truck.

Where did you order the CST kit from? I know Autoanything was offering a $400. or $500. discount on the CST kit.
