Pull bcm pin

I am installing an OEM remote start and have to pull pin #24 on my black BCM but cannot figure out how todo it. I could not find any info on how to either. Any advise?

I believe there is a special $60 tool you need to use to depress the little clips on the pin.@pgamboa would be able to help with this I’m sure.

Or actually thinking about it more.... there might be a little tab on the side of the plug that you press in with a flat head screwdriver

The BCM doesn't need a special tool.  Just use a small flat head screwdriver to lift the TPA (Terminal Position Assurance) tab up.  The tab is usually white.  Once the tab is up, there is a tiny little lever on the inside of the slot of each terminal.  Looking at from the front, using a pick tool, gently life the lever up while gently pulling the terminal out.
