Underbody Glow Lights 2014 Sierra 1500

I’m wanting to put some lights under the truck by the running boards that will come on when I unlock the truck, just like the ones on the side mirrors. Has anyone done this? I was thinking it would be as easy as running it through the fuse for the side mirror lights. Any suggestions?

Cool idea! I'd also do this. I'm sure there Is a circuit to tap that would allow this.

I just bought amp-research running board lights to do the same thing. The wire you are looking for is located at the bcm. Gray 26 pin plug, pin position #1, gray wire, positive trigger. This wire will also fade out with the dome lamp
